Morney's Memorial service included a number of poems and songs by herself and those she loved and admired. "I May Know the Word" by Natalie Merchant played as we walked in. The other songs were "I'm Gonna Fly" by Kimmie Rhodes and Townes Van Zandt, "Cowboy Romance" by Natalie Merchant, "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M. and finally "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" by Emmylou Harris. One of Morney's own poems, "She Sees Rainbows" was read by myself and Norma read Sylvia Plath's "The Night Dances." Her mother read another of Morney's poems, "The Last."
